Dear Lord, I have so many questions to ask you.

Why did you give me a life so much harder than those around me?

Did you want me to be stronger? To be independent? To see 'the other side of the coin'?

I thank You for it.

For though I may not be strong, I'm strong enough to live.

For though this girl is not yet independent, she's starting to flap her wings to life.

For though the world out there shines, I shall not forget the dark years of the past and the unforeseen future.

I am thankful for the lessons made for me alone to learn.

And I shall be forever thankful for more of other lessons bestowed to me down this railway of life.

I shall be the girl who will move forward to be the girl that I want to be.

But it'll never come to be without Your help.

You, who paved the path for me, and granted me the patience, determination, ability and so on, to lead me to where I am and wherever I'll be.

Henceforth once again, thank you.

Praise the Lord. Amen.
